1. What is the advantage of using Raglan Shuttle to get to or from Auckland or Hamilton Airport?

Raglan Shuttle provides the easiest and most time effective airport transfer option. Our service takes all the hassle out of getting to the airport as we will take you and your luggage door-to-door. We also  take the most direct route getting you to your destination efficiently and with as little fuss as possible. 

2. Does Raglan Shuttle go door-to-door?

Yes, we pick you up from or deliver you to your doorstep from home, hotel, office or anywhere - even the beach!

3. Is Raglan Shuttle a scheduled service?

No, as long as you make your booking in advance, we provide an on demand service. We calculate your pickup time based on your flight departure time.

4. Can Raglan Shuttle take me to the airport at any time of the day?

Yes, we can drive you at anytime provided we are given at least 24 hours notice. 

5. What does “shared ride” mean?

Sometimes we have passengers needing to travel to or from the airport at the same or similar times.  If all passengers agree to share the ride we adjust collection times to suit all passengers and advise reduced price and update collection details. 

6. How much does Raglan Shuttle cost?

Our starting prices are based on 1-2 passengers travelling together to or from various destinations. 

7. Where can I catch Raglan Shuttle?

Raglan Shuttle provides door-to-door airport transfers to or from Raglan and surrounding areas including Whale Bay, Te Uku, Te Mata, Te Akau, Waitetuna, Te Pahu, Te Kohwai, Ngaruawahia and Huntly

8. Where will I find Raglan Shuttle at the airport?

Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport holding a passenger name board for you to identify. At Auckland International Airport the driver meeting place is near the front of McDonalds (ground floor, arrivals hall) At Hamilton Airport the driver meeting place is near the escalator. 

9. Do I have to book my Raglan Shuttle transfer?

Yes. To avoid disappointment we strongly recommend you book Raglan Shuttle with at least 24 hours in advance. We can accept bookings up to 12 hours prior to the pick up time however we require a phone booking to be able to confirm and coordinate this service.

10. Do I have to pay for my luggage items?

The shuttle price includes 1 standard check in bag and 1 standard carry on bag per passenger.  If your luggage is excess or oversize we may need to charge extra for using a larger vehicle or using the luggage trailer.

11. Can I hire the Raglan Shuttle just for me and my family / friends / work?

Yes you can - all bookings received are considered private in the first instance - just let us know if you would be keen to share if a shared ride becomes available

12. How many people can Raglan Shuttle carry?

We have a range of vehicles available - from shuttle cars (up to 3 passengers) to shuttle van (up to 11 passengers) and our shuttle bus (up to 24 passengers)

13. Can Raglan Shuttle carry my Surf Board?

Yes we can take surf boards on our roof soft racks. We also have a trailer which can to cater for large/long boards or other oversize items. It is important to let us know your board length when you make your booking so that we can prepare your shuttle in advance. We do not charge for surfboards that can fit on the shuttle vehicle. If a trailer is required we charge a one-off fee of $20.

15. How can I change a reservation once I have received a confirmed booking online?

Your reservation details can easily be amended by calling us 0800 825 8159 or by emailing info@raglanshuttle.co.nz . Simply quote your reservation details and our friendly reservations staff will bring up your transfer details and change them for you.

16. How can I cancel a booking?

Your reservation details can be cancelled by calling us 0800 825 8159 or by emailing info@raglanshuttle.co.nz . Please refer to our refund policy within our terms and conditions.

20. How much time will I need to allow to travel to the airport.

When you complete our booking form online we receive your flight departure time and whether your flight is a domestic or international departure. This allows us to calculate your travel time to the airport so that you arrive at the required check in time for your flight.

For Auckland International flights we generally depart Raglan 5 hours before your flight departure time (2 hours travel time + 3 hours check in) 

For Auckland Domestic flights we generally depart Raglan 3.5 hours before your flight departure time (2hours travel time + 1.5 hours check in)

For Hamilton Domestic flights we generally depart Raglan 2 hours before your flight departure time

(1hour travel time + 1 hour check in)

You also get the added bonus of selecting an earlier pickup time if you wish to go out to the airport early to avoid the rush and do some shopping!

21. Is my information secure when I book online?

Absolutely. When you use your credit card to book or reserve services on this website a secure payment method and pathway is used. Please refer to our privacy policy for all information relating to site security and responsibilities.

22. What about infants and car seats?

All Raglan Shuttle vehicles have seatbelts and we recommend that you bring your child’s carseat with you when you travel. We do have 2 forward facing child car seats (suitable for 12 months old upward) to hire free of charge - please let us know if you require one in your booking details.
